A disk is wider but has low sides normally 3" or lower, this allows you to cook the food hotter in the center but move to the sides to continue to warm. A wok has much higher sides, the food is cooked all together. Blue Moon Disk are built for the weekend where as woks are built for...Im not sure exactly.
Disks and Blue Moon Disk are made from Steel plow disk farming blades - the traditional way.
Here is what I do and recommend. Scrap of the food from your disk, run hot water over the disk, scrub it with soap and water, then hand dry and lightly apply vegetable oil over it and store in a dry place. Just like you would care for black iron skillets.
